Metamorphosis
Finally, it's time to polish off the dirt of your dancing shoes and come out! It's Gracious Host Events & Social Butterfly Club's 5 Year Anniversary Party Metamorphosis. Join us in the magical forest in Stadium Club at Edgewater Casino and dance to Livin In Swing's 10 piece live band's 50's, 60's, 70's musical performance, as well as 3 phenomenonal DJs, enjoy some appies, prizes, and be entertained by forest fairies, Bad Girls Go go dancers, silent auction...
Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too, only at Metamorphosis! There will be plenty of surprises, so come for a night that you will not soon forget. For those of you who came to our 3 year Anniversary party Evolution, this is the next level of fun and excitement, and special events are "Special"!
Tickets are $15 from now til Sept 17, $20 from Sept 18 - Sept 25, and $25 from Sept 26-28, VIP tickets are $50 each or $250 for a booth of 5 guests (each gets a flute of champagne, delicious appies, private host/hostess and dancer and special goodie bag)
CARNEVALE 2008
On May 30, 2008, at 5pm Dominelli International will once again proudly host CARNEVALE 2008, the 14th Annual Body Art Exposition and Competition at the Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver (3075 Slocan Street).
This event will feature artists who will demonstrate their talents using models as human canvases and will create elaborate, colourful and intricate designs on the human body. This will be the 14th Annual highly successful Body Artistry Exposition and Competition of its kind and is a showcase of creative expression of art and form.
BCAC - Black Tie and Blue Jeans Auction
This fundraising gala will be the first special event unveiling the brand new BCIT hangar! Every dollar raised will go directly to the BCAC Endowment and Bursary Fund, supporting the next generation within the aviation and aerospace industry. The evening will include a tantalizing feast to delight the appetite, a jazz trio to create a relaxing atmosphere, and fantastic prizes and draws, including two tickets valid for travel to any Air Canada scheduled destination to inspire the imagination. Come take advantage of our live and silent auctions for your Christmas shopping — we will have over 300 exciting items to choose from! There will also be an amazing art sale hosted by the Chali-Rosso Art Gallery, which will include 100 original art works featuring Salvador Dali, Picasso, and Chagall.

An Enchanted Holiday Luncheon
We have the Chair and President of the Richmond Chamber, 2 Richmond City Counsellors, board of governor from SFU, school trustee of Vancouver School Board and Richmond School Board, City Mayor of Richmond and Comox, Council General of China, UK, US, Indonesia and HK. As well as many important business people. The Richmond Review is our Media Sponsor.
It is our wish to raise a donation to encourage the Air Cadet Squadron 655, as we believe their programs like effective speaking, leadership, gliding, survival training, first aid, music band, annual parade on Canada Day and Remembrance Day etc. positively train up youngsters to uphold a healthy community. Holiday season is the season of giving, so please open your heart to give us your kind support. Better to give than receive. Nothing is too small, donation of gifts or certificates for auction welcome. Blessings!
This is also an effective exposure opportunity, with more than 100 business owners, executives, and local dignitaries attending. All indicators show the event is going to be an overwhelming success for all involved! We will arrange for a cheque presentation on stage to the Air Cadet Captain at the luncheon. Many VIPs and dignitaries like Consuls General, Mayors, School Trustees, BC Aviation Council and governmental officials will be there witnessing your generous contribution to the community.
Credential Financial Inc. and The Ethical Funds Company Staff Party
This will be a formal event. It will be a sit down dinner followed by entertainment and dancing. Ice breaker party games will happen at the beginning of the evening.
